'In the darkness, bodies (our own and the performers’) become indiscrete. They evaporate in the dark, with and into other objects; with and into each other.' Bod Jamson, artistic director of Perch Arts, London.]

The complete darkness in which the piece offers an escape from reality yet is not set in a specific place, the audience and performers share a space that is somewhat hard to locate, offering instead a launch pad for individual associations. Rather like the landscape of a dream nothing is stable; images establish themselves while disappearing, creating a mysterious tension that weaves through the piece. The audience are invited to be as intrigued by what's happening in the darkness as much as what is revealed in the light. The hierarchy of the senses, usually inclined to sight is challenged; as the performers continue working in the dark, the atmosphere encourages the audience to use the alert state lent by the lack of light to perceive through the rest of their senses.
